NACHTS

NIGHT is about two women who meet again after a long time. Marie, a Russian prostitute, shows up at Paula's in the middle of the night. That same night, the two break into an indoor swimming pool, which evokes old memories with its mystical, nocturnal charm. Marie has brought Paula's favorite cake and wine. Gradually, Paula settles into the small intimate birthday celebration. But the sadness on her face hints at how much she loved Marie. After a moment of silence and speechlessness, Marie tells of her return home. Paula, at first angry and hurt, quickly regains her composure and asks Marie to dance with her one last time.
